Ruffle Skirt

Earlier this year I had bought some plaid fabric on Sale with the intention of making a skirt for myself. Recently, I found just the right design. A tutorial by Sew Dang Cute Crafts. I followed the instructions exactly. I even ended up with the same measurements, except my waistband was a tad longer. The plaid fabric I used was 50" wide, so I got away with 1.5 yards of fabric. I did have to piece one of the ruffles, but I used it on the back panel and you can really not tell.
It's also not cotton, but a suiting fabric with a little bit of stretch. It feels really soft and comfortable. It was also very nice to work with.
The skirt fits perfectly and I think it's a very flattering cut. It was also very easy to sew. And, you can't beat 7.50$ in total material cost!

Thank you, Tam, for a wonderful tutorial.

Ciao, Ciao.

PS: Thanks, Yanic, for taking my "modeling" pictures ;-)

Adorable! I have a question, how did you attach front piece B to front piece A? That part of her directions wasn't clear to me.
