First of all I just want to say ...I LOVE SEWING DRESSES FOR MY GIRLS....
It is so rewarding: they don't complain, they don't have a brandname mindset yet and they typically look cute in them.
Just before Christmas I made a set of matching T-shirt dresses off my Honey-Do-List following this easy tutorial from The Long Thread. I added a little birdie applique on the bottom on oposite sides. I did not cut the bottom of the shirt, but used the full length instead.
Unfortunately, the girls wouldn't stand still for "proper" pictures. So these are all I can present to you. They wore them on Christmas Day for our family gathering at John's parent's house.
I think I will make many more of this style for summer using short sleeve shirts and tank tops.

Happy New Year!
They are so lovely! I agree - making dresses and skirts for little girls is very satisfying. (And I can live vicariously through fabric I LOVE but because I'm 36, don't have the confidence to wear to the shops or office, which is silly really)
