A couple of weeks ago I found this awesome
free tutorial for a purse using only one fat quarter for the outside and one for the lining. I knew immediatly, that I had to make one. And I decided to make it for my Grandma as a birthday gift.
The tutorial is very easy to follow. When it comes to sewing the zipper it becomes a little tricky, but it's manageable. Some things I handled differently: I interfaced both, the lining and the outer fabric, and I attached the second end of the strap to the belt buckle instead of having it hang lose.
I hope my Grandma will like the purse as much as I do.
